  • the Act on Legal Advisers;
  • Code of Ethics for Legal Advisers.

The amount of statutory fees and admissibility of remuneration being freely fixed has been provided for in the Act on Lawyer’s Fees (RVG).

The civil liability insurance covers professional activity in the territory of the Federal Republic of Germany, Republic of Poland and member states of the European Union.

Extrajudicial settlement of disputes:

In the event of a dispute between the barrister and a client, it is possible to file a petition for the dispute to be settled amicably by the Bar Association in Berlin (pursuant to § 73, sec 2, No. 3 in conjunction with § 73, sec 5 of BRAO) or by the Mediation Centre of the Bar (§ 191f of BRAO) active at the Federal Bar Association.

In the event of a dispute between the legal adviser and a client, it is possible to settle such dispute through the mediation of the Arbitration Court at the Regional Chamber of Legal Advisers in Warsaw.
