Tenancy and ownership of property law

RGW Berlin provides its Clients with legal services in the field of tenancy and property ownership. In 2023, Mr Roclawski successfully completed a specialisation course on the tenancy and property ownership law.

We advise both tenants and landlords on the drafting of lease agreements for residential and commercial premises.

In the field of residential tenancy law, we address issues related to rent increases and reductions, termination of tenancy agreements, monitoring the settlement of operating and heating costs, and determining the presence of specific contractual provisions concerning issues such as permissible rent levels, renovation and repair obligations, and security deposits. We also advise our Clients on warranty obligations and lease termination. We also answer all questions related to the rental of commercial premises.

We represent our Clients’ interests in courts – in particular in cases concerning consent to the increase in rent, evictions and the return of premises after termination of the tenancy agreement.

In the area of residential property law, we assist with matters related to acquiring property, preparing and conducting housing association meetings, as well as adopting resolutions, allocating costs and settlements. We also advise on issues related to declarations of division of premises and support housing associations in enforcing rights.

Our services include also issues related to brokerage law.
