On 16 to 19 October 2014, managing partners in the Law Office RGW attended an international conference organized by the Association CONSULEGIS which was held in New York (Consulegis Autumn Conference 2014 – New York City /U.S.)
The event was attended by 166 participants representing law firms from all over the world.
During the conference, numerous interesting lectures were given where issues concerning international law and compliance policy were raised. In particular, issues relating to foreign investments in real estate market in the USA were discussed (“Investments by foreigners in US real estate”) as well as those concerning international security (“International investigation, security and compliance”).
Like every year, trends were also discussed in development of the Association Consulegis and ways to strengthen cooperation between member law firms.
The next Consulegis conference will be held in Barcelona on 23 to 26 April 2015.
